PLATE RACK/kitchen shelf unit
Solid cherry top, painted softwood base

Garden storage bench
Elm seat and back/softwood base
I knew that one day an impressive elm plank which had been taking up valuable space in my workshop would be put to good use. Although a bit worm eaten (but treated against further attack), it lent itself perfectly to the rustic feel I was attempting to create. The incised lettering on the bottom left hand corner of the back rest carries the initials of family members.
Recycled piranah pine
Reclaimed teak. Waxed finish
This was commissioned as a Christmas present and has been designed to fit within a specific space on a landing. The recipient's initial forms part of the sunflower motif. For this project, I was lucky enough to salvage some beautiful teak from two old fire doors.
